Wahl Clipper Corporation celebrated the grand opening of its flagship Wahl Barber Academy in Chicago on Friday, April 14th. The ribbon cutting and VIP reception was attended by over 100 guests, with remarks delivered by Lance Wahl, Senior Vice President of Professional Sales & Marketing at Wahl Clipper Corporation.

Industry leaders and media were treated to a tour of the world-class barber school, designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to succeed in the competitive world of barbering. The Academy is in partnership with Pivot Point Academy, a leading provider of beauty and barber education.

The students will receive education from leading licensed instructors who demonstrate technical skill and the ability to inspire and motivate students," said Denise Provenzano, Managing Partner and Co-Owner of Pivot Point Academy. The space will serve as a training center for barbers, where curriculum will focus on haircutting, grooming and skincare.

The Wahl Barber Academy is a purpose-built learning environment that leverages technology to provide students with a 360-degree learning experience. The curriculum is designed by Pivot Point Academy, which has a reputation for developing exceptional hair and beauty professionals. Students will learn hair cutting, shaving, grooming and basic skin care, as well as business skills necessary to prepare them to succeed in the men's grooming industry.
The ceremony was attended by top industry professionals, educators, and media partners.

The Wahl Barber Academy will also serve as an advanced training center, hosting educational opportunities for industry professionals and Wahl's global team of educators. Classes are set to begin later this year, with plans to offer hair and grooming appointments shortly thereafter.
