Here she shows the deft touch required for creating curl that looks controlled but not crunchy and springy but not sprayed. The products she uses in these styling how-tos are from designline and include the Mineral Salt Texture Paste, a formula that she says has "a gentle grit for control yet it’s still so moisturizing! You can’t even tell there’s product in the hair."

Mineral Salt Texture Paste adds volume, definition, and texture to any style. It replenishes and seals in moisture, while helping to protect hair from environmental stressors with a UV absorber and proteins. This paste offers a flexible, medium hold that is easy to rework and leaves hair frizz free with a semi matte finish.  Ingredients include Aloe Vera, Beeswax, Rice Protein and Castor Oil.

𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘌𝘠𝘌. there’s some aspects to the trade that we can’t necessarily be taught. i think a big part of that is developing “the eye”. deciding what, where, and why. or maybe you don’t even know why. you just know that it will look cool. but that comes with time. it’s why @andrewdoeshair work is so easily recognizable and distinguished. he has the eye! he knows how to make people look like the coolest version of themselves and bring out their individual best features. it’s not a cookie cutter haircut. it’s tailored. i think that’s important and it’s something i’ve really been trying to focus more on. in this cut it’s very obvious that i left the weight in the parietal ridge very heavy and low. i could’ve blended it much more and made the fade more stretchy. but my eye told me nahhh. a year ago it would’ve driven me nuts to leave that weight line. but now i see that not everything has to be perfectly blended, and there isn’t a right or wrong way to this art form. it’s so fulfilling being able to watch my work grow and change through the years yet still have so much more to learn. i always have more to work for and look forward to. it’s quite addicting isn’t it? anyways, cheers to an ever evolving journey that always keeps me on my toes. ✨👁 #grateful #barber #texturedhair #menshair #chicagobarber
